Open PRs

  • DX/HLSL support

    • Big PR from Eric at Epic

    • Doug and Remi have reviewed, minor requests

    • FYI that this will likely be landing soon

  • Kevin include work

    • Needs rebasing, Kevin will try to get a chance to take a look soon

  • PR from Remi on OpenGL ES stuff in ACES 2

    • Kevin: original code was integer base in the indices, relied on integer division. Obviously we need to do math in floating point on GPU, should pay attention to this translation. May be fine, but also something to double check

    • Remi added an additional test for different types of texture lookups. A lot of this is still happening in integer and not float, so it should be ok for this instance. This fix very narrowly just makes it so OpenGL ES will compile, it was failing.

    • We need a second approval on this PR

  • How to merge dependabots

    • Carol has no updates, will work to get answer from Cary on what OpenEXR does for the next TSC meeting

  • ProPhoto

    • Vlad has addressed most comments from Doug, one or two more coming

    • Needs another review once that is done

CI updates

  • Doug added VFX CY2026 containers in CI

  • Fixed some dependabots things in relation to that

  • What macOS runs do we want to keep?

    • Proposing slimming MacOS runners down to 4, 2 ARM and 2 x86

    • Fine, switched some ARM settings to run Docs and OIIO instead of the x86 ones

    • We might want to look at updating versions we’re using too (on both windows and Mac)

  • Zach will maybe look at ordering runners and see what’s possible

  • If we stop testing python 3.9, we need to update the wheels workflow to not generate 3.9 on all platforms. Doug will add in the current PR
