ACES 2.0 Updates

• Meeting Wednesday at 12pm PT

• Kevin: done some work trying to integrate updates into Remi’s work

  • Slow going to make it all play nicely and have good diffs

  • Generally speaking, made some things go quicker on the CPU

  • Not many updates to GPU other than making sure it matches

  • Need to figure out what we want to use as a representative test

  • Haven’t targeted biggest time profiles yet, getting low-hanging fruit done first

  • Scott, Remi and Doug will be ready to review when necessary

TSC Updates / Meeting Cadence

• Meeting time:

  • Is Monday at 12 still the right time?

  • Michael: should we look at alternating time zones?

  • Carol will reach out to folks and see if there’s anything that might work better

  • fortnightly is still the preferred cadence

• TSC Leadership: Doug & Carol to remain in their leadership positions for 2025, unless there are objections / desire from others to volunteer

• TSC Membership: please let us know if you need a break from the TSC, emeritus status can always be reactivated. Also, please feel free to nominate new TSC members as needed.
