- ABI stability
- Do we have to make an OpenEXR 4 before ensuring ABI compatibility?
- Kimball: I’m poking away at making most of the C++ ABI inline.

- Have to deal with string attribute
- Will introduce C++17 as an ifdef to use string view
- Macports: 4 years out of date
- Hasn’t touched the library since 2.3.0. But tt isn’t dead.
- Do we have any experience with anything more than a member of TSC reaching out?
- Nick: Catch up on the vcpkg openexr thread that’s been going on for two years.
- Kimball: It's taken 2 weeks to figure out how to build OIIO.
- Joseph: Homebrew has solved it.
- Joseph: Googled the maintainer, professor at Univ. Maryland.
- Nick: reach out and ask to help, or take over as owner.
- Could ask ASWF for support.
- Nick: OTIO - Jean-Christophe Morin has been a huge help.
