Update for Adobe Photoshop and AfterEffects

  • Working on automating static website GitHub actions

  • Need to update some permissions for this workflow to work as expected

  • Doug & Zach will work together to update permissions

  • Then #2094 can just be closed

ACES 2 updates

  • Met with Thomas separately about ACES 2.0 configs

    • Config generator will generate 3 configs - D60, D65, and one with both

    • Only the D65 config will be built into the library

    • Others will only be artifacts on the repo

    • Feedback welcome

  • ACES 2.0 transform optimization

    • Two bottlenecks

      • Tonescale which calls pow() a lot

      • Gamut mapping

    • Kevin’s optimizations do change numerical results, and you can see it visually, HDR most impacted. Changes not necessarily bad, just different

    • Can this make it into 2.4.1? Likely not. Maybe a few small changes but don’t want to rush this

    • Push it to 2.4.2, and communicate with software vendors

    • Push ACES 2.0 built-in configs to 2.4.2 as well

OCIO 2.4.1 release

Planning on week of December 9th for release
