OCIO Config Working Group Meeting Notes

• Config release for 2.3

  • Link to release spreadsheet

  • Color coded based on progress: green is done, yellow is in progress no blockers, red is blockers

  • Display P3

    • Merge the Display P3 PR for OCIO. 

    • PR to aces-dev is merged. But ACES doesn’t want to tag it, as that indicates a new release

    • But we can check out a commit directly

    • Get Thomas a python test build (check with Remi if they are working)

    • Only worry is that CI will break

    • Maybe do a pre-release with manually built configs for the library, then an official release after the 2.3 library release

  • For Canonlog2 and SLog2

    • We need to create CLFs - PR to the ACES config to add them

    • Thomas can take a look at them this weekend 

    • Doug will send parameters for the CameraLogTransform. There isn’t a builtin for Slog2

  • ACES AMF IDs

    • Carol working on add’l AMF IDs for inverses and csc/idts

    • Should we wait on these changes until AMF changes solidify? 

    • Thomas to look at how complicated the multiple IDs would be, and then we’ll decide from there
