OCIO Config Working Group Meeting Notes

  • Updates to config generator for AMF Compatibility

    • Current configs are lacking complete AMF IDs and a few transforms to be fully compatible with AMF files. 

    • Where should the IDs live? Currently they are in the description for Doug's sample tool - should they have their own spot?

      • Description is programmatically generated, can add the ACES ID tag to it

      • Should do this first, and then discuss other long term options

    • Frankie has a spreadsheet modified for AMFB, will send it over to compare with the current spreadsheet

    • Some colorspaces will have multiple IDs - both IDT and CSC for example, and their inverses

    • Descriptions would be consistent for all configs, but add’l transforms would be just studio config, possibly as inactive colorspaces

    • Will create an issue for tracking once we take a look at the spreadsheets
