OCIO ___ Working Group Meeting Notes

• PRs and stuff:

  • Merge Doug's Blackmagic CLF PR

  • Ping Sean about ARRI LogC4 PR - Carol will do

• Nuke 14 would like to ship with the new Studio Config

  • Hoping to include it with the open beta

  • Double check they will still ship the 1.2 configs

  • Ask again about the CG config - group thinks it would be useful to include and not a heavy lift as it's just a file

• Studio Config Spreadsheet:

  • Should not include the Tungsten curve for Canon - not in use

  • First tab of spreadsheet should match order of colorspaces from ACES 1.2 config, add new colorspaces at the end. To show decision-making trail and have clarity

  • Add ARRI LogC4, linear

  • Thomas to check what code does if spreadsheet has both ACES ID or the CLF ID - ACES ID priority to match with built-in transform

  • Need to get CLFs for Filmlight - Carol to reach out. Might not make it in V1

  • Add acescg w/ srgb piecewise

  • Add acescg w/ gamma 2.2

  • Follow up with HP on list/definition of proposed texture spaces post siggraph

  • Add reference gamut compression as look

  • Move Rec.709 - Camera to the input section? Use ITU as vendor for now

  • Next steps: add modern names for all included spaces, alias, and aces/clf ids

  • Aliases - legacy name is added automatically to aliases

  • Category column (column L)  - is it used? Currently data in there is families and not categories  - Thomas to check

  • Adding display spaces for gamma 2.2 rec709, display P3

• Doug will reply to Panasonic thread, and make PRs for the rest of the camera CLF IDTs
