Versioning Table Proposal
Kevin: Reassign default view transform is in the patch release column currently, should likely be more serious than a patch. Maybe doesn't need to be a major version, but should likely be at least a minor change.
Carol and Doug agree
Anything that causes or could result in an error when loaded should definitely be a major break. Things listed makes sense.
Also, group agrees that these should be guidelines, and the group agrees to changes/overrides as necessary depending on situation
What about luma? Functionality mostly deprecated, could be removed/or at least moved to minor version increase
Discussion around aliases - Doug points out that developers/applications should be using GetCanonicalNames to avoid clashes with aliases that might no longer eventually exist. While this can be mostly true, Kevin points out Nuke as an example application that doesn't quite work that way by design. To confirm with the Foundry, but we think for the foreseeable should remain a major change to remove aliases.
Changing first element in lists such as active_views/displays should maybe be more than a patch? Possibly even a major change. Possibly viewing_rules too.
Add Adobe RGB, Prophoto, RIMM/ROMM:

Group doesn't necessarily disagree on adding Adobe RGB - RIMM/ROMM a little surprising.
Will farm for more input, discuss again at a future meeting.
Should probably also decide on methodology for approving additions/deletions, similar to how we decide versioning...
