OCIO Config Working Group Meeting Notes

• Finalizing the configs release:

  • Thomas took an action item to proceed with the release of the updated configs for OCIO versions 2.3, 2.2, and 2.1.
    
    

  • We will then close a bunch of open issues on the GitHub.

• Versioning policy:

  • The group would like to document the config versioning policy somewhere in the documentation. We first need to agree on the details and that will be done in this issue.
    
    

  • Thomas volunteered to make a table in the issue to capture the details of what will changes to various parts of the config will entail in terms of a version bump.

• Finalizing the config generation PR:

  • Doug approved Thomas' PR that implements all the changes for the new configs.

  • Since Sean joined today we discussed the change to the ACESTransformID in the ARRI LogC4 CLF that was done to match aces-dev.

  • Sean took an action item to take a look.

• Meeting cadence:

  • We will meet again on September 26 and then discuss moving to a monthly cadence.
